🕊️ 🔓 A pet bird breaks free from an illusory prison
Ten days ago, my neighbor spotted a bright green parakeet in my backyard and asked me to keep an eye out for it. She said it was probably someone’s pet that had escaped and mentioned that it was the kind of bird that would step onto my hand if I held it out. I never saw or caught the bird, but I did worry about it for several nights.
Two nights ago, the small green bird appeared in a dream. In the dream, I was able to catch it and put it in my laundry room. I then left to seek out its owner. When I returned, I saw that the bird had drawn me a picture.
The domesticated bird, which had freed itself, had drawn a woman trapped in a prison cell—only the prison cell was an optical illusion. The bars that were keeping her in were made of shadows and light.
I woke up from the dream and thought about all the illusions that keep me from feeling free.
The animals that cross our path in real life or in dreams are all messengers.
The pet bird teaches that the fears and beliefs that act like prison cells are only shadows.
I’m still saddened by the lost green bird, but grateful for the illumination.

In the dream, I am trying to escape a controlled reality run by abusers. I know it is both a dream and real.
What is reality, anyway? A simulation? A game? A play?
Wherever the majority of your awareness resides is reality. And if you are trapped, oppressed, abused or controlled, it is a hell.
Mary Magdalene reminds me that there are invisible and undercover helpers who are here to guide us toward freedom.
Keep your mind on the light, love, and trust.

📖 👶 The memories we leave behind before birth
In the dream, I saw myself trying to squeeze through the doorway to Earth, carrying as many memories as I could, while leaving so much behind.
Before birth, I made a promise to myself and those I love that I would remember everything.
I know that this process of awakening is meant to be the entirety of my whole life, and the path of “remembering” is not meant to be walked alone.
Our consciousness is comprised of many channels or streams of intelligence—reason, emotion, intuition. I’ve turned up the volume on my subconscious so that I can clearly hear the language of my soul.
The closer I live to my true self, the more recognizable I will be to my soulmates.

I recognize this dream as a past life memory because my body has recall, and I can feel the bed sheets on my skin, and the smell of the dormitory where my sisters sleep.
I am whispering to someone I know and trust and who reincarnated into this life to be, once again, my friend. A partner in spiritual crime.
Sometimes to be a consciousness explorer means that you are a heretic and spiritual outlaw of your time.

In the dream, the storyboards were crafted in the style of antique French automata. Each panel depicted an origin story and an ending.
If you could view our entire lifetime from start to finish, what would you choose to change?
Being in the flow of life means not resisting or rejecting the divine storyline that is unfolding.
However, as sovereign beings, we also have the creative control to choose the final cut of our stories.
After death, I envision myself on a stage, taking a bow alongside everyone I have ever loved and anyone who has ever hurt me. I embrace each person, even the villains, and I thank them for playing their roles so perfectly.
Every person I cross paths with helps me to discover my own edges, limitations, and the boundaries of my heart.
This vision brings me comfort, as it reminds me that every interaction is a pre-designed part of my spiritual growth. I understand life as an education for the soul, where each experience contributes to the expansion of consciousness.
I recognize the interconnectedness of all things and the roles we play in each other's lives.
I step into the darkness and refuse to contract. Instead, I turn on the high beams of my heart so that others know they are not alone.

These are not questions to answer, but questions to help me become.
I sense that what is bubbling beneath the surface of my subconscious is the significance of divine expression.
